The first ever Sunset Duckies Cup is happening — and your duckling is in.

📍 Tamarin Bay
⏰ 13:00 – 17:30 (arrival + warm-up on the sand at 13:00, first heats at 14:00 sharp)
💸 1'000 MUR per kid

What that covers — entry, BBQ for the whole fam, water for the kids, prizes, and a personalised finisher certificate. A full afternoon, basically.

❗ This is NOT a drop-off. Please plan to stay the whole afternoon. There's a parent heat at 16:30 you can throw your hand up for — kids vote the side awards 🦆.

🗓️ Deadline: Friday 15 May.
We need names + t-shirt sizes locked in by then so we can order shirts, print certificates, and lock the heat sheet in time.

🙌 We also need 7 parent volunteers to make the day happen. Pick one and message Andras to claim it:
• In the water (1–2 people) — helping the ducklings catch waves during their heats
• Build-up crew — tents, tables, signs up before 13:00
• Clean-up crew — pack down from 17:30, leave the beach better than we found it
• BBQ — owns the grill, coals lit by 14:30, food served at 15:30 🔥
• Healthy snacks — fruit + light snacks platter ready alongside the BBQ at 15:30 🍉
• Media — music, MC, photos, videos
• First aid — parent with first-aid training, kit visible

Bring on the day:
• Your duckling's own board if they have one (we have spares if not)
• Their own rashie if they have one
• Sunscreen, towel, warm layer for after
• Drinks for yourselves — we provide water for the kids only

Format — heats of 4, 10 minutes, positive-only judging. Your child is judged on the fundamentals we coach every week (paddle, pop-up, stance, ride, stoke). No tricks needed. Best 2 waves count.
